So your’re up six runs in the ninth inning, there’s two outs….what do you do? Of course, bring in a pitcher.  That’s exactly what Nationals’ manager Davey Johnson did tonight. He brought in Todd Coffey to get one out in a game he was winning by six runs.  Perhaps I’m more bitter because it happened to my team, but there is absolutely zero reason to do that. The only other clown who I know would do this is Tony LaRussa.
