Mike McCoy has a new home in San Diego.
Now that the Norv Turner era is over in San Diego, there is a new man in charge. Mike McCoy became the new Chargers Head Coach Tuesday.
McCoy has been the Broncos Offensive Coordinator since 2010. He was the mastermind behind the Tim Tebow playoff win and the success of Peyton Manning this past season. Before Denver, he was in Carolina from 2000-2008. He served as Offensive Assistant, Wide Receivers Coach and Quarterbacks Coach and helped Jake Delhomme lead the Panthers to the 2004 Super Bowl. The Chargers went 7-9 in 2012, but still have a decent quarterback in Philip Rivers to work with.

McCoy led Tim Tebow to a AFC West title and playoff win in 2012 with the Broncos.
